The shift into solar came with the technology’s rapid advance (toward universal affordability) – and, specifically, the legislature’s 2008 passage of Public Act 285 (PA285) requiring all utilities to produce 10% of their power from renewable sources by 2015. (Note – now 15% by 2021.). We put an emphasis on user-ownership of solar, rather than third-party ownership. Tropical Smoothie Cafe Downtown Ann Arbor is located at 607 East Liberty Street; right next to the Michigan Theater. This Tropical Smoothie Cafe has been open for just over 5 years now. My business partner and I purchased this franchise as of 6/12/2017. Since then we have re-imaged and updated the whole store. We put a newly updated Tropical Smoothie Cafe sign on the front of the building along with a brand new Catering Department to handle all possible sized events. During our process of cleaning and making the store a better place to be in; we have hired all new staff and updated their training to the proper standards of operations.
